My Cyclical Art Explorations and Is Blogging Still Viable?
Recently, I have become very drawn to watercolors and mixed media again. It’s been awhile according to my old posts here. My artistic wanderings seem to be somewhat cyclical, although as I look around my cluttered table I see that I currently have a knitting project under the needles, a bag under the sewing machine’s needles and watercolors and papers are joyfully spread around my small painting area. I like the same things but my most acute focus shifts a bit. I’ll always be a beginner!
An artist I follow, Karen Elaine, does a cool thing that I decided to try. She fills an old Rolodex flat style with card sized little art. It seemed like a very approachable, do-able, method to me. Back to the burning question though…do you still read blogs? for daily, but no worries if I miss a day or two. Karen has new book out and it’s a fun one!
